five facts about me

 1.  I can turn a bad day into a good one just by remembering one great day I had at camp Miniwanca.

 2.  Some people say that one space in front of a period is now the acceptable punctuation, but I will never, ever give up two spaces.

3.  I like compliments, like everyone else, but I don’t know how to handle them, so I get really awkward and then simply seem rude when someone compliments me.

4.  I tried to (and still do, to some degree) to be quirky, thinking myself not interesting, but someone pointed out that my strive to be quirky was quirky in itsself, so I’ve tried to stop being things I’m not becuase I’m willing to bet the things I am are pretty neat.

5.  I love the word neat.

1. I used to upkeep a livejournal, a diaryland account, a geocities website, and owned PamNewman.com… all at the same time.

2. I want to start a band more than I want to have kids. And I really wanna have kids someday.

3. I don’t like wearing socks.

4. I wear a silver ring on my right hand most of the time. My mother gave it to me, and one day I’ll give it to one of my kids. It’s a really pretty ring, and I’m sure it only cost like 10 dollars, but it’s something that is lovely that my mom gave me, and something I won’t feel stupid sharing with another generation.

5. When I write stuff down, I always print. I think I’m forgetting how to write in cursive.

  1. I wish my parents would have named me Agnes.
  2. In nearly two years, my boyfriend and I have had one fight, and it lasted a total of 20 min.
  3. Reading text aloud, even alone, induces panic attacks if I don’t actively relax. However, public speaking and performing for audiences is one of my favorite activities.
  4. I am overly violent and do tons of drugs in my dreams, but consider myself pretty pacifistic and have never tried anything harder than marijuana in waking life.
  5. Even though I love writing and the study of literature, sometimes I feel I should have stuck with my bio/pre-med major. But then I change my mind again, and am glad I’m an English major.
